Hi, I’m Paula Bowers! I’ve been creating pottery for over 12 years, drawing inspiration from the rich history of South Carolina ceramics, the natural beauty of our family farm, and the music that moves me.
My work is all about joy—whimsical, functional pieces designed to be used and loved every day, yet crafted with the care and quality to last a lifetime.
How it’s Made
Each piece is hand-built from smooth stoneware clay, shaped and refined for comfort and function. The surface is impressed with floral and paisley stamps, then hand-painted with cobalt underglaze to highlight the textures. After drying, the set is bisque-fired, glazed with a translucent white to let the stamped details shine, and high-fired to over 2200°F for durability. The result is a food-safe, dishwasher-friendly, and microwave-safe set that’s both functional and decorative.
