About this Product
This elegant handmade small 4x4 plate features a beautifully painted window scene framed in black, evoking the glow of a warm light against a nighttime backdrop. Below the window, a row of potted plants adds a cozy touch, while the scalloped edges are embossed with a delicate fan pattern for a lace-like finish. A refined piece that works equally well as a serving dish, jewelry tray, or decorative accent.

Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Paula Bowers! I’ve been creating pottery for over 12 years, drawing inspiration from the rich history of South Carolina ceramics, the natural beauty of our family farm, and the music that moves me.
My work is all about joy—whimsical, functional pieces designed to be used and loved every day, yet crafted with the care and quality to last a lifetime.

How it’s Made
Hand-cut from stoneware clay, the tray is shaped with scalloped edges and impressed with a repeating fan texture around the rim. The window scene is hand-painted with underglazes, highlighting details like the arched top, warm golden light, and tiny plant pots. After bisque firing, the piece is finished with a soft speckled glaze that enhances the natural clay texture, and the artwork is sealed under a glossy clear glaze. High-fired to over 2200°F, it’s durable enough for both functional use and display.
